The URTECH insulating tubes are used to insulate coiled pipes. It decreases the number of joints on the pipe system. The insulating tubes are inserted one by one on the pipe and joints are closed with an adhesive membrane supplied with the tubes.
The tubes are made of polyurethane foam covered with a polyethylene membrane. If necessary, it is possible to integrate a channel into the insulation foam to insert a heating cable.
